The exposition was opened in 1997. The museum is located on the shore of Lake Drivyaty in the building of an old mill - an architectural monument of the beginning. XX century, which is adjoined by additional extensions, creating a representative complex, which houses the hotel "Zayezdny Dvor". The interior is divided into three levels. The complex dedicated to weaving from straw, wicker and other natural materials contains ancient tools found during archaeological excavations, as well as products of famous weaving masters.
The exposition "Carving of the Braslav Region" is represented by the products of such masters as P. Zelyavsky, K. Lapkovsky, I. Shpakovich. In the weaving workshop, next to the looms (krosny) and devices associated with the processing of flax and wool, you can see samples of products of the weavers of the Braslav region. A special place is occupied by a pottery workshop. It presents ceramics typical for the north of Belarus, incl. famous potter N. Kuzminova. The museum has two exhibition halls, which organize exhibitions of folk crafts, works of artists and arts and crafts.
